Thus, osteopathy, massage therapy and psychotherapy treatments are offered to support the process of self-regulation and taking charge of one's own physical and emotional health. Qualified therapists will expertly accompany and guide anyone wishing to undertake this health approach.

Who are we ?

Serge Caron, DO | Diploma in Osteopathy and massage therapy

Passionate about anatomy and physiology, he practices then teaches Hatha Yoga as learned in India (1984). In 1999 he  undertakes  training in Yoga-Thai massage, then  various massage techniques have enabled him to master the art of touch and to be certified in Massotherapy.

He participates regularly  to  post-graduate training  in osteopathy, such as: The technique of Jones (Stain & Counterstrain) ,  Osteopathic Mechanical Link (LMO), Neurology, K-Taping, Pediatric Osteopathy, Pharmacology, Shoulder Dysfunction, Peripheral Dysfunctions, The Cranial Revisited, etc.

On the strength of these experiences, osteopathy then became an essential complement in  this therapeutic approach, allowing him to acquire the most recent techniques in the field of alternative medicine.  He is a graduate of the Institute of Osteopathy of Quebec.

Mayse benoit

Maryse Benoit, D. PhD  | Psychologist

Maryse  Benoit has been a clinical psychologist since 1993. Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Sherbrooke, she remains  at the cutting edge of scientific knowledge and best practices in the field of psychology.

 

It adopts an integrative approach adapted to the needs of the clients. The treatment can target different problems such as mood disorders, anxiety, bereavement or crisis situations, life transitions, relationship difficulties, etc. Over time, Maryse  Benoit is particularly specialized in intervention in a post-traumatic context and with people who have been victims of violence. She also offers clinical supervision services.

Estrya Health  gives the opportunity to young professionals in the process of obtaining their license to practice to offer psychotherapy services and develop their clientele. Their services are offered under the supervision of a senior psychologist, Maryse  Benoît. The follow-ups can take place in the premises of Estrya Santé or in their office  in Sherbrooke.
